Washing Beauty Blender Tips

I’m guilty of not washing my beauty blender and makeup brushes enough. You know you’re actually supposed to wash your blender after EVERY use? I don’t know about you, but I think it’s more difficult to wash a beauty blender than makeup brushes. I use the same product to wash both.

I use Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Hemp Lavender Pure-Castile Soap. I love how this soap contains coconut oil and olive oil. You can pick this up at your local Target or Whole Foods.

For brushes, I put some soap in my palm and lather the wet makeup brush, rinse and repeat if needed. Once the soap on my palm is clear then I set my makeup brushes on a towel to dry. For a beauty blender, I put soap directly on it, squeeze/lather, and rinse a few times until the beauty blender returns to the original color.
