I love the holidays, but my wallet doesn’t agree with me. I’ve been trying to save and budget my money. I found two really helpful apps that I’ve been using for a while now.
Penny is a neat app that tracks your spending. You can watch how much money you spend monthly and compare month spending. It shows how much you spend in each category such as food, bills, and other purchases. It’s helped me realize how much I actually spend on food. I’ve actually learned that my biggest weakness is Amazon.
This app is wonderful because it helps you save money without even thinking! You link it up to your bank account. There are several rules that you can apply. My favorite rule is the round-up rule. It rounds up every purchase to the dollar. So if I spend $5.49 at Starbucks, Qapital will $0.51 will be deposited into savings. You can set multiple saving goals at a time with different rules. For example, you can set a rule that will deposit $2.00 in your savings if you hit 10,000 steps that day.
If you sign up now, Qapital will help you by depositing $5.00 into your savings.
